Dealer Spotlight - Innovative LED Stage & DJ Lighting
Innovative LED Stage and DJ Lighting's history as a company is rooted in the years of experience that owner's Mike and Pam Spencer have in playing, touring, staging for themselves and other performers. They found that many lighting systems were just not adequate to the task of holding up under real performance conditions, or they just didn't have the capability to really enhance the performance at a higher level and draw the crowd in.
They started looking for a product that they could believe in, and their list of qualifications was demanding. In their mind the lighting systems had to include:
• Cutting Edge Technology
• Energy Saving Products
• Cooler Running Products
• DMX Products
• Intelligent Lighting Solutions
They found the match for all of these, and more, with Blizzard Lighting, and because of this partnership Innovative LED Stage and Lighting is now a preeminent resource for quality products, quick shipping and trustworthy service from people who understand YOUR needs because they live, and perform, in YOUR world!
Innovative LED Stage & DJ Lighting consistently stocks 97% of all Blizzard products, with currently almost $250K worth on hand.

Blizzard Lighting Announces the New Torrent F3™
Blizzard Lighting is pleased to announce the latest addition to the popular Torrent™ series of LED powered high –brightness moving heads: The Torrent F3™. Equipped with a 50-watt US-Made Luminus™ CST-90 LED light source, Blizzard designed the fixture based on feature requests received directly from their mobile DJ, club install and small-to-midsize production users.
“The design team’s goal was pretty simple: take about a 5-page list of feature requests given to us by our users, build them into the proven optical system of the Torrent 90, and keep the price from further increasing the national debt,” joked Will Komassa, Blizzard Lighting’s founder and chief designer.
The Torrent F3™ features a rotating gobo wheel with 7 brand new rotating, interchangeable gobos plus open, and a static gobo wheel with 8 gobos plus open. 7 richly saturated dichroic colors and a 3 facet rotating prism are also fitted as standard. The included DMX remote focus also enables popular “Gobo Morph” effects and unique aerial effects while ensuring razor-sharp pattern projection.
Compared to conventional lamp sources, the Torrent F3’s™ 50-Watt Luminus™ CST-90 LED and high-performance optics provide a remarkably flat, even field of light output across the entire image. Plus, with luminous intensity of 7,250 Lux at 2 Meters with standard 15 degree optics, the Torrent F3’s™ output compares favorably with other 75-watt-class LED fixtures.
Fab5 Series LED Fixtures Gearing Up to Invade America
Blizzard Lighting is about to start a FAB invasion. Coming in November, an all new series of LED lighting fixtures will be fitted with state-of-the-art, high power, 15-watt, 5-in-1 RGBAW LED’s. This is the new Fab5™ Series from Blizzard Lighting.
Blizzard is set to introduce the first two fixtures of the Fab5™ Series in November, 2012. The Puck Fab5™ is a new variation of the well-known Puck® series flat LED par can that will feature 7x 15-watt, 5-in-1 RGBAW LED’s, while maintaining all the same great features that made the original Blizzard Puck® series so popular. There will also be a new IP65 outdoor rated Fab5™ fixture, the ToughPAR Fab5™. This fixture will also be fitted with 7x 15-watt, 5-in-1 RGBAW LED’s, all tightly sealed inside a weatherproof black cast aluminum enclosure with tempered glass lens and waterproof power connectors.
“5-in-1 technology is a revolution which has been a long time coming,” said Will Komassa, Blizzard’s Founder and Chief Designer, “We’ve heard our clients begging for it for as long as I can remember, and I’m happy to say the payoff is worth the wait.”
Advantages of the new revolutionary 15-watt, 5-in-1 LED’s include extreme output and superior internal color mixing with unmatched color gamut. Each individual LED of the Fab5™ contains its own red, green, blue, amber, and white nodes which can be controlled separately to easily mix any color possible. With 5-in-1 RGBAW LED technology, you can achieve those hard to duplicate amber/orange shades, as well as pastel colors - all from one fixture.
The ToughPAR Fab5™ also takes advantage of a 32-bit ARM® Cortex™ CPU to provide superior dimming and multiple dimmer curves.
Professional's Choice: Blizzard RockLite RGBAW
Bemidji, Minnesota – Local inspirational Christian country group member Kent Dudley and his band “Bended Knee” recently held their first national CD release concert to announce their first album, “He Gave Me a Friend”. The band was told by a mutual contact to hire NLFX Professional to handle and oversee the entire production for sound, stage, and lighting. The man behind NLFX Pro, Ben Stowe, carefully selected 16 Blizzard Lighting RockLite™ RGBAW Par cans. RockLite™ RGBAW LED Par cans feature 36, 3-watt Edison® red, green, blue, amber, and white LED’s for a superior and complete color mixing gamut with a 25 degree beam angle.
When asked why he chose RockLite™ RGBAW par cans Ben said, “I like the RockLite™ RGBAW’s because they are bright, efficient, and have good color. I can use the amber and white LED’s for good skin tones, while still color mixing with the RGB, plus I get some really awesome hues of purple with the amber diode. I often mask out the DMX channels for the amber and white away from the RGB ones, which allows me to essentially use each can as a dual purpose instrument.” Ben continued, “We had a low ceilings and limited truss space, so using as few fixtures as possible was essential to preserve sightlines. For the style of music Kent Dudley and “Bended Knee” plays it is very important that you can see the performers face. Much of the music is very emotional and Kent draws a very close connection with the attendees at his concerts and the lighting is essential to that.”
We also spoke with Shantel Dudley, manager and also singer of “Bended Knee” what she and other members of the band thought of the RockLite™ RGBAW par cans in use at their event. “Everyone we talked to loved the concert. We had about 750 people attend, and everyone was impressed with the lighting, sound and the event as a whole. We could not have been happier. It exceeded our vision for the show. The lighting effects were impressive and the entire evening went off without a single glitch.”
Shantel and Ben were both quoted saying, “We will definitely use Blizzard Lighting again!”
